Facts & Questions

What is a multirotar?

A multirotar is essentially a helicopter but with more than one motor. Multirotars come in 4, 6, and 8 rotars. They are becoming more common for remote control cinematography and photography because of the increased stability and safety. We have a 6 and 8 rotar multicopter.

How many people does it take to operate your multirotar?

We have a dual operator setup. One person pilots the multirotar, while the other operates the camera.

Does the camera move around?

Yes, our camera gimbal allows the camera operator to pan a full 360 degrees and tilt up and down 180 degrees.

What type of camera can you fly?

Typically we fly the Canon 5D MIII, but we have the capability to mount any DSLR along with larger cameras like the Canon C500, Sony FS700, and RED Epic.

What do clients usually use you for?

Our Multirotars are used for many things. Commercial Real Estate, Construction sites, land surveying, TV commercials, sports events, hotels, school campuses, golf courses, and much more!

Is your Multirotar battery or gas powered?

All of our units are battery powered. Making it eco-friendly, and giving off less noise.

How long can you fly?

Our flights typically range from 5-10min depending on wind, shot desired, and how heavy of a camera is mounted.

What do we need on location?

Ideally a dual 110v outlet would help us with recharging batteries. We do have a portable power station, but if we are traveling out of the state we can’t travel with this.

We look forward to working with you on your next project!
